2020 Proficiency Test (PT) on  Liquefied Propane started

Summary of this proficiency test:

 

On 23 September the proficiency test on Liquefied Propane started with 48 participants from 29 different countries. On that date, the samples were dispatched to the laboratories. Enclosed to the sample is the material safety data sheet (MSDS).

Please confirm sample receipt as soon as you have received and checked the contents of the sample package via www.kpmd.co.uk/sgs-iis/. Please enter the date of receipt and press the "save date" button.

 

The samples can be analyzed on: Ethane, Propane, Propene, n-Butane, iso-Butane, n-Butane, 1-Butene, n-Pentane, iso-Butene, Molar Mass, Relative Density at 60F, Vapour pressure at 100F / at 40°C, Ideal Gross/Nett Heating Value and MON.

 

The sample iis20S03S can be analyzed on: Total Sulphur. 

 

The deadline for reporting results is set on 30 October 2020. A laboratory that reports test results after the deadline will definitely not get direct feedback in case any of its results are suspect! So be in good time to get the most out of this proficiency test.
