2022 Proficiency Test (PT) on  Grease started

Summary of this proficiency test:

 

On 13 April 2022 the proficiency test on Grease started with 16 participants from 12 different countries. On that date, the samples were dispatched to the laboratories. Enclosed to the sample is the material safety data sheet (MSDS).

Please confirm sample receipt as soon as you have received and checked the contents of the sample package via www.kpmd.co.uk/sgs-iis/. Please enter the date of receipt and press the "save date" button.

 

The samples can be analyzed on: Cone Penetration, Copper Corrosion, Dropping Point, Extreme-Pressure Properties (Four-ball method), Oil separation, Roll Stability ¼ scale penetrometer and ½ scale penetrometer, Water, Wear Preventative Characteristics, Elemental Analysis Al, Sb, Ba, Ca, Fe, Li, Mg, Mo, P, Si, Na, S and Zn. 

 

The deadline for reporting results is set on 20 May 2022. A laboratory that reports test results after the deadline will definitely not get direct feedback in case any of its results are suspect! So be in good time to get the most out of this proficiency test.
