2022 Proficiency Test
(PT) on Refinery Gas started

Summary of this proficiency test:
On 26 January 2022 the proficiency test on Refinery Gas started with 19 participants from
13 different countries. On that date, the samples were dispatched to the laboratories. Enclosed to the sample is the material safety data sheet (MSDS).
Please confirm sample receipt as soon as you have received and checked the contents of the sample package via
www.kpmd.co.uk/sgs-iis/. Please enter the date of receipt and press the "save date" button.
The samples can be analyzed
on: Hydrogen, Argon, Oxygen, Nitrogen, Carbon Monoxide, Carbon Dioxide, Hydrogen Sulfide, Methane, Ethane, Ethene, Ethyne/Acetylene, Propane, Propene, Prop-1-yne (Propyne, Methylacetylene),
Allene (Propadiene), Methylpropane (iso-Butane), n-Butane, Trans But-2-ene (trans-2-Butene),
But-1-ene (1-Butene), 2-Methylprop-1-ene (2-Methyl-Propene, iso-butene), Cis But-2-ene (cis-2-Butene), Buta-1,3-diene (1,3-Butadiene), 2-Methylbutane (iso-Pentane), n-Pentane,
Other components with 5 or more carbon atoms, excluding 2-Methylbutane and Pentane (C5+), Carbon content and Lower Calorific Value.
The deadline for reporting results is set on
4 March 2022.
A laboratory that reports test results after the deadline will definitely not get direct feedback in case any of its results are suspect! So be in good time to get the most out of this proficiency test.
The test results should be reported via our internet based results reporting platform www.kpmd.co.uk/sgs-iis/.
