2020 Proficiency Test (PT) on Biodiesel B100 started

Summary of this proficiency test:

 

On 30 September the proficiency test on Biodiesel B100 started with 63 participants from 29 different countries. On that date, the samples were dispatched to the laboratories. Enclosed to the sample is the material safety data sheet (MSDS).

Please confirm sample receipt as soon as you have received and checked the contents of the sample package via www.kpmd.co.uk/sgs-iis/. Please enter the date of receipt and press the "save date" button.

 

The samples can be analyzed on: Acid Value, Acid Number, Cloud Point, CFPP, Carbon Residue, Copper Strip Corrosion, Density at 15ºC, Flash Point (PMcc/recc), Iodine number, Kinematic Viscosity at 40 ºC, Oxidation Stability, Pour Point, Sulfated Ash, Sulfur, Water, Water and Sediment, Distillation performed at 10mmHg, Heating Values, Methanol, Monoglycerides, Diglycerides, Triglycerides, Free Glycerol, Total Glycerol, Total Ester Content, Linolenic Acid Methyl Ester, Polyunsaturated Methyl Esters, Cetane Number  & DCN, Sum of Calcium and Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Sodium, Sum of Potassium and Sodium, Particulate Contamination and Total Contamination. 

 

The deadline for reporting results is set on 6 November 2020. A laboratory that reports test results after the deadline will definitely not get direct feedback in case any of its results are suspect! So be in good time to get the most out of this proficiency test.

The test results should be reported via our internet based results reporting platform www.kpmd.co.uk/sgs-iis/. A login and a password can be requested via email to nl.iis@sgs.com
