2022 Proficiency Test (PT) on DGA in Transformer Oil  started

Summary of this proficiency test:

 

On 26 October 2022 the proficiency test on DGA in Transformer Oil started with 76 participants from 40 different countries. On that date, the samples were dispatched to the laboratories. Enclosed to the sample is the material safety data sheet (MSDS).

Please confirm sample receipt as soon as you have received and checked the contents of the sample package via www.kpmd.co.uk/sgs-iis/. Please enter the date of receipt and press the "save date" button.

 

The samples can be analyzed on: Hydrogen H2, Oxygen O2, Nitrogen N2, Carbon monoxide CO, Carbon dioxide CO2, Methane CH4, Ethane C2H6, Ethene C2H4 (ethylene), Ethyn C2H2 (acetylene), Propane C3H8 and Propene C3H6. 

 

The deadline for reporting results is set on 2 December 2022. A laboratory that reports test results after the deadline will definitely not get direct feedback in case any of its results are suspect! So be in good time to get the most out of this proficiency test.

The test results should be reported via our internet based results reporting platform www.kpmd.co.uk/sgs-iis/. A login and a password can be requested via email to nl.iis@sgs.com
