2020 Proficiency Test (PT) on Organotin Compounds in Textile started

Summary of this proficiency test:

 

On 18 November 2020 the proficiency test on Organotin Compounds in Textile iis20A19 started with 92 participants from 27 different countries. On that date, the samples were dispatched to the laboratories.

Please confirm sample receipt as soon as you have received and checked the contents of the sample package via www.kpmd.co.uk/sgs-iis-cts/. Please enter the date of receipt and press the "save date" button.

 

The samples can be analyzed on: Monomethyltin (MMT), Dimethyltin (DMT), Trimethyltin (TMT), Tripropyltin (TPT), Monobutyltin (MBT), Dibutyltin (DBT), Tributyltin (TBT), Tetrabutyltin (TeBT), Monooctyltin (MOT), Dioctyltin (DOT), Trioctyltin (TOT), Diphenyltin (DPhT), Triphenyltin (TPhT) and Tricyclohexyltin (TCyHT).  

 

The deadline for reporting results is set on 25 December 2020. A laboratory that reports test results after the deadline will definitely not get direct feedback in case any of its results are suspect! So be in good time to get the most out of this proficiency test.

The test results should be reported via our internet based results reporting platform www.kpmd.co.uk/sgs-iis-cts/. A login and a password can be requested via email to nl.iis@sgs.com
