| Proficiency Test on Bitumen started

Summary of this proficiency test: On 23 November 2016 the proficiency test on Bitumen started with 46 participants from 25 different countries. On that date, the samples were dispatched to the laboratories. Enclosed to the samples were the instructions to the participants for this proficiency test and the material safety data sheet (MSDS). Please confirm sample receipt as soon as you have received and checked the contents of the sample package via www.kpmd.co.uk/sgs-iis/. Please enter the date of receipt and press the "save date" button.
The samples can be analyzed on:
Density at 25°C, Density at measured temperature, Dynamic Viscosity at 60°C, Flash Point, Fraass breaking point, Kinematic Viscosity at 135°C,
Penetration at 25°C, Penetration Index, RTFOT at 163°C, Softening Point (Ring&Ball)and Solubility in Xylene.
The deadline for reporting results is set on 30 December 2016. A laboratory that reports test results after deadline will definitely
not get direct feedback in case any of its results are suspect! So be in
good time to get the most out of this proficiency test. |
