Summary of this proficiency test:

On 13 April 2016 the proficiency test on Biodiesel 100%FAME (B100) started with 49 participants from 29 different countries.

On that date, the samples were dispatched to the laboratories. Enclosed to the samples were the instructions to the participants for this proficiency test and the material safety data sheet (MSDS).

The samples can be analyzed on: Acid Number, Carbon Residue , CFPP, Cloud Point, Copper Strip Corrosion , Density @15 ºC, Distillation D1160, Flash Point , Iodine number, Kinematic Viscosity @ 40 ºC, Oxidation Stability , Sulphur, Sulphated Ash, Water, Calcium, Magnesium, Phosphorus , Potassium, Sodium, Methanol, Monoglycerides,  Diglycerides , Triglycerides , Free Glycerin, Total Glycerin, Water and Sediment, Total Contamination and Cold Soak Filter Test.

The deadline for reporting results is set on 20 May 2016. A laboratory that sends in results after deadline will definitely not get direct feedback in case any of its results are suspect! So be in good time to get the most out of this proficiency test.
