| New ultralow sulfur B5 diesel Reference Material

Studies (iis) did prepare a new Reference Material.
The material can be used for quality control purposes for various determinations on ultralow sulfur diesel.
The Reference Material can be ordered in quantities of 100 ml. The certified parameters have passed strict
statistical assessment.
During the interlaboratory studies of September/October 2007 (iis07G04) with 156
laboratories in 69 different countries, the candidate Reference
Material has been certified for various determinations that are all used for
diesel testing in accordance with the latest version of EN590.
The assigned values and its uncertainties are presented in the following table: Parameter Value Uncertainty Cloud Point, °C -4.91 ± 0.18 Density, kg/m3 835.09 ± 0.03 Mono Aromatics, %M/M 20.37 ± 0.30 Sulfur, mg/kg 9.96 ± 0.28 Water, mg/kg 61.6 ± 2.8 Besides, the following values were also determined for
this RM. These value were not certified, but are for indication only:
