2021 Proficiency Test (PT) on Poly Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Polymers started

Summary of this proficiency test:

 

On 14 January 2021 the proficiency test on Poly Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Polymers iis21P02 started with 96 participants from 26 different countries. On that date, the samples were dispatched to the laboratories.

Please confirm sample receipt as soon as you have received and checked the contents of the sample package via www.kpmd.co.uk/sgs-iis-cts/. Please enter the date of receipt and press the "save date" button.

 

The samples can be analyzed on: Total PAH, Naphthalene, Acenaphthylene, Acenaphthene, Fluorene, Phenanthrene, Anthracene, Fluoranthene, Pyrene, Benzo[a]anthracene, Chrysene, Sum of Chrysene and Triphenylene, Benzo[b]fluoranthene, Benzo[j]fluoranthene, Benzo[k]fluoranthene, Sum of [b],[j] and [k] Benzofluoranthenes, Benzo[e]pyrene, Benzo[a]pyrene, Indeno[1,2,3-c,d]pyrene, Dibenzo[a,h]anthracene, Benzo[g,h,i]perylene and Cyclopenta[c,d]pyrene.  

 

The deadline for reporting results is set on 19 February 2021. A laboratory that reports test results after the deadline will definitely not get direct feedback in case any of its results are suspect! So be in good time to get the most out of this proficiency test.

The test results should be reported via our internet based results reporting platform www.kpmd.co.uk/sgs-iis-cts/. A login and a password can be requested via email to nl.iis@sgs.com
