2020 Proficiency Test (PT) on Total Metals in polymers started

Summary of this proficiency test:

 

On 12 August 2020 the proficiency test on Total Metals in polymers started with 169 participants from 39 different countries. On that date, the samples were dispatched to the laboratories.

Please confirm sample receipt as soon as you have received and checked the contents of the sample package via www.kpmd.co.uk/sgs-iis-cts/. Please enter the date of receipt and press the "save date" button.

 

The samples can be analyzed on: Total Antimony as Sb, Total Cadmium as Cd, Total Chromium as Cr, Chromium as Cr6+, Total Cobalt as Co, Total Copper as Cu, Total Lead as Pb, Total Mercury as Hg, Total Nickel as Ni, Total Manganese as Mn and Total Tin as Sn. 

 

The deadline for reporting results is set on 18 September 2020. A laboratory that reports test results after the deadline will definitely not get direct feedback in case any of its results are suspect! So be in good time to get the most out of this proficiency test.

The test results should be reported via our internet based results reporting platform www.kpmd.co.uk/sgs-iis-cts/. A login and a password can be requested via email to nl.iis@sgs.com
