2018 Proficiency Test (PT) on Gasoil started

Summary of this proficiency test:

 

On 29 August 2018 the proficiency test on Gasoil started with 165 participants from 76 different countries. On that date, the samples were dispatched to the laboratories. Enclosed to the sample is the material safety data sheet (MSDS).

Please confirm sample receipt as soon as you have received and checked the contents of the sample package via www.kpmd.co.uk/sgs-iis/. Please enter the date of receipt and press the "save date" button.

 

The samples can be analyzed on: Aromatics, Acid Number, Ash content, Cetane Index, Cloud Point, CFPP, Color, Carbon residue, Copper Strip at 50°C, Density at 15ºC, Distillation at 760 mmHg, FAME content, Flash Point PMcc, Kinematic viscosity at 40°C, Lubricity by HFRR, Nitrogen, Pour Point, Sulphur content, Water, Water and Sediment, Cetane Number & DCN, Particulate contamination and Oxidation Stability.  

 

The deadline for reporting results is set on 5 October 2018. A laboratory that reports test results after the deadline will definitely not get direct feedback in case any of its results are suspect! So be in good time to get the most out of this proficiency test.

The test results should be reported via our internet based results reporting platform www.kpmd.co.uk/sgs-iis/. A login and a password can be requested via email to iisnl@sgs.com
