Summary of this proficiency test:

On 24 January 2018 the proficiency test on Methylmetacrylate (MMA) started with  16 participants from 13 different countries. Enclosed to the sample is the material safety data sheet (MSDS).

Please confirm sample receipt as soon as you have received and checked the contents of the sample package via www.kpmd.co.uk/sgs-iis/. Please enter the date of receipt and press the "save date" button.

The sample can be analyzed on: Acidity as acrylic acid, Appearance , Colour Pt/Co, Density at 20°C, Inhibitor as Topanol A, Water, Purity by GC, Purity on dry basis GC, Acetone, Ethylacrylate, Ethylmethacrylate, Methanol, Methylacrylate, Methylisobutyrate, Methylpropionate, Methyl alpha-Hydroxy Isobutyrate and Other impurities.

The deadline for reporting results is set on 2 March 2018. A laboratory that reports test results after the deadline will definitely not get direct feedback in case any of its results are suspect! So be in good time to get the most out of this proficiency test.
