Summary of this proficiency test:
On 17 January 2018 the proficiency test on Poly Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Polymers started with 102 participants from 29 different countries. On that date, the samples were dispatched to the laboratories.
Please confirm sample receipt as soon as you have received the package and checked the contents, via www.kpmd.co.uk/sgs-iis-cts/. Please enter the date of receipt and press the "save date" button.
The samples can be analyzed on: Naphthalene, Acenaphthylene, Acenaphthene, Fluorene, Phenanthrene, Anthracene, Fluoranthene, Pyrene, Benzo[a]anthracene, Chrysene, Sum of Chrysene and Triphenylene, Benzo[b]fluoranthene, Benzo[j]fluoranthene, Benzo[k]fluoranthene, Sum of [b],[j] and [k] Benzofluoranthenes, Benzo[e]pyrene, Benzo[a]pyrene, Indeno[1,2,3-c,d]pyrene, Dibenzo[a,h]anthracene, Benzo[g,h,i]perylene and Cyclopenta[c,d]pyrene. .
The deadline for reporting results is set on 23 February 2018. A laboratory that reports test results after the deadline will definitely not get direct feedback in case any of its results are suspect! So be in good time to get the most out of this proficiency test.
