Summary of this proficiency test:

On 23 August 2017 the proficiency test on Jet Fuel A1 starts with 138 participants from 70 different countries.

On that date, the sample will be dispatched to the laboratories. Enclosed to the sample is the material safety data sheet (MSDS).

Please confirm sample receipt as soon as you have received and checked the contents of the sample package via www.kpmd.co.uk/sgs-iis/. Please enter the date of receipt and press the "save date" button.

The sample can be analyzed on: Aromatics by FIA, Aromatics by HPLC, Colour Saybolt, Copper Corrosion, Density at 15°C, Distillation, (IBP, 10% recovered, 50% recovered, 90% recovered, FBP) Existent gum, Freezing Point, Mercaptan Sulphur, Particle Size, Smoke Point, Specific Energy, Total acidity, Total Sulphur, Naphthalenes, MSEP, Flash Point, JFTOT, Wear Scar Diameter, FAME Content and Viscosity at -20°C.

The deadline for reporting results is set on 29 Sept 2017. A laboratory that reports test results after the deadline will definitely not get direct feedback in case any of its results are suspect! So be in good time to get the most out of this proficiency test.
