Summary of this proficiency test:

On 8 February 2017 the proficiency test on Colourants (Banned dyes) in Textile started with 86 participants from 26 different countries.

On that date, the samples were dispatched to the laboratories. Enclosed to the samples were the instructions to the participants for this proficiency test.

Please confirm sample receipt as soon as you have received this package and checked the contents, via www.kpmd.co.uk/sgs-iis-cts/. Please enter the date of receipt and press the save date" button.

The samples can be analyzed on: Disperse Blue 1, 3, 7, 26, 35, 35a, 35b, 102, 106, 124, Disperse Brown 1, Disperse Orange 1, 3, 11, 76, Disperse Red 1, 11, 17 and Disperse Yellow 1, 3, 9, 39, 49, Acid Red 26, Basic Blue 26, Basic Green 4 (oxalate, chloride and free), Basic Red 9, Basic Violet 3, 14, Direct Black 38, Direct Blue 6 and Direct Red 28.

The deadline for reporting results is set on 17 March 2017. A laboratory that reports test results after deadline will definitely not get direct feedback in case any of its results are suspect! So be in good time to get the most out of this proficiency test.
