Summary of this proficiency test: On 10 August 2016 the proficiency test on
Methanol started with 92 participants from 37 different countries. On that date, the samples were dispatched to the laboratories.
Enclosed to the samples were the instructions to the participants for this proficiency test and the material safety data sheet (MSDS).
Please confirm sample receipt as soon as you have received and checked the contents of the sample package via
www.kpmd.co.uk/sgs-iis/.
Please give date of receipt and press "save/button".
The samples have to be analyzed on Appearance, Purity, Colour Pt/Co, Water, Distillation, Density @20°C,
Specific gravity 20/20, Permanganate time test @15°C, Carbonisable substances, Ethanol, Chloride,
Sulfur, Acidity, Total iron, Nonvolatile Matter, Trimethylamine, Miscibility (water), Acetone, Benzene, Toluene and UV absorbance.
The deadline for reporting results is set on 23 September 2016.
A laboratory that reports test results after deadline will definitely
not get direct feedback in case any of its results are suspect! So be in
good time to get the most out of this proficiency test. |
