| Proficiency Test on Vacuum Gasoil started

Summary of this proficiency test: On 19 November 2014 the proficiency test on Vacuum Gasoil started with 52 participants from 27 different countries. On that date, the samples were dispatched to the laboratories. Enclosed to the samples were the instructions to the participants for this proficiency test, forms for the reporting of the analysis results and the safety data sheet (MDS). The samples can be analyzed on Total Acid Number,Aniline Point, Asphaltenes, Density @ 15°C, Carbon Residue, Flash Point PMcc, Kinematic viscosity @ 50°C, Kinematic viscosity @ 100°C,MCR, Nitrogen, Total Sulphur Content, Simdist, As, Ca, Cu, Fe, Ni, Na, Si, and V and DistillationThe deadline for reporting results is set on 19 December 2014. A laboratory that reports test results after deadline will definitely not get direct feedback in case any of its results are suspect! So be in good time to get the most out of this proficiency test.
