Summary of this proficiency test:

On 12 November 2014 the proficiency test on Ethanol (Fuel-.Bio) started with 76 participants from 29 different countries.

On that date, the samples were dispatched to the laboratories. Enclosed to the samples were the instructions to the participants for this proficiency test, forms for the reporting of the analysis results and the material safety data sheet (MSDS).

The samples can be analyzed on: Acidity , Appearance, Density @ 20°C, Nitrogen, InOrganic Chloride, Sulfate, Total sulfur, Water (coulometric), Water (titrimetric), involatile material content, Copper, phosphorus, Acetone, Acetaldehyde, Acetal, Benzene,Cyclohexane, Crotonaldehyde, DEG, DIOXANE,Ethylacetate, ethanol,, electrical conductivity , Iso Butanol, Iso Propanol,MEG, MEthanol (Fuel-.Bio), n-Amylalcohol, n-Butanol, n-Propanol, Sec-Amylalcohol, sec-Butanol, tert-Amylalcohol, tert-Butanol, and methylalcohol and  tert-butanol.
