Summary of this proficiency test: On 8 October 2014 the proficiency test on MEG started with 58 participants from 26 different countries. On that date, the samples were dispatched to the laboratories. Enclosed to the samples were the instructions to the participants for this proficiency test, forms for the reporting of the analysis results and the material safety data sheet (MSDS).
The samples have to be analyzed on: Acidity as acetic acid, Aldehydes as acetaldehyde, Ash, Appearance, Colour Pt/Co, Chloride, Di Ethylene Glycol, UV transmittance, Iron, water, Purity, Density at 20 °C, Specific Gravity 20/20°C and Distillation.
The deadline for reporting results is set on 7 November 2014. A laboratory that sends in results after deadline will definitely
not get direct feedback in case any of its results are suspect! So be in good time to get the most out of this proficiency test. |
