Summary of this proficiency test:

On 16 February 2011 the proficiency test on Phthalates in Plastics started with 146 participants from 33 different countries.

On that date, samples (#11012 and #11013) were dispatched to the laboratories. Enclosed to the samples were the instructions to the participants for this proficiency test, forms for the reporting of the analysis results.

The samples have to be analyzed on 6 phthalates (DINP, DBP, BBP, DIDP, DNOP, DEHP, DIBP, DHP and other Phthalates).

The deadline for reporting results is set on 18 March 2011. A laboratory that sends in results after deadline will definitely not get direct feedback in case any of its results are suspect! So be in good time to get the most out of this proficiency test.
